About The Event
Women Economic Forum (WEF) is a nonprofit global forum aiming to foster empowering conversations and connections among women committed to driving constructive change in all spheres of life.
WEF events serve as significant facilitators of peer exchange and learning in a diverse and interdisciplinary context, acting as a hub for extensive connections and networking worldwide.

MISSION
The mission of WEF is to provide a space for women to network, learn, and grow professionally. It fosters a supportive environment where women can exchange ideas, showcase their talents, and explore avenues for economic advancement.
With over 120 successful editions held across 50 countries, Women Economic Forum (WEF), a global conference platform for empowering women in economy and society, is hosting its inaugural forum in Athens, Greece, October 22 - 23, at Eugenides Foundation. WEF - Athens edition is presented by WICCI Greece - India business council of the Women’s Indian Chamber of Commerce and Industry (WICCI), along with Dr. Harbeen Arora, Founder of WEF & WICCI with a central theme of "Women Leading Economic Growth and Sustainable Development."
The event aims to serve as an international forum for dialogue, sharing of expertise, and extensive networking opportunities among global leaders, industry experts, academics, and other interested parties.

Its purpose was to implement the wishes expressed in the last testament of the late Eugenios Eugenides, a benefactor of the Greek nation. Registered and based in Athens, its founding charter states that its objective is to contribute to the education of young Greeks in science and technology.
